Emily and Victor's wedding was such a joy to photograph! Not only are they so stinking cute (see their firehouse themed engagement pictures here), but they are both so incredibly thoughtful and easy going. Emily is actually a wedding photographer herself, and we met while studying photography together several years ago at the Center for Digital Imaging Arts in Washington, D.C., so I was extremely flattered when she chose me to be her wedding photographer!
Emily and Victor were married at the Ingleside Vineyard in Virginia (which has some delicious wine, by the way!), and although it did rain most of the day, we were still able to take advantage of the short dry spells in between and get some gorgeous fall wedding photos. The colors of the trees were unbelievable and I absolutely love how their images turned out. The dress was stunning and suited Emily so perfectly.
Check out these incredibly unique and beautiful necklaces that Emily gave to her bridesmaids as gifts. She ordered them from Etsy here, and I have to admit it probably won't be long before I'm ordering one for myself!
Emily's hair and makeup were stunning as well. Her makeup was by Juliana Loor and her hair was by Kristan Foster of Shear Heaven Hair Design.
It sure came in handy having all those bridesmaids when it came time to put on the dress!
These girls were so much fun!
What a stunning bride Emily made!
Victor getting ready with his buddy ET in the background making sure he gets his bowtie on straight :)
Victor gave each of his groomsmen one of these pocket watches. So classy!
Check out those striped socks! Love 'em!
What a handsome groom! Vic had such a cute smile, partly from my bad jokes and partly from his buddies teasing him.
And here comes an amazing series of photographs...the first look. I just love his reaction, it's absolutely perfect!
Every bride wants to see a tear on their groom's face on their wedding day. Emily didn't have to wait long and was quick to point out the evidence!
And we also did a first look with Emily's parents; it was so great to see and capture their reactions!
The beautiful bridesmaids in their gorgeous blue dresses. Their hair was done by Kaila Moseley with Beauty by Verabella.
The flowers done by Country Florist were stunning and complemented the dresses so well.
Check out these styling groomsmen! I love the pocket watch hanging out on the right!
These cuties started off the ceremony in the courtyard.
The rings were carried down the aisle on this firetruck (Vic is a firefighter in Maryland).
Creative caption anyone? Wish I could read their minds!
Victor's dad was also his best man and held onto the rings during the ceremony.
I just love the way she's looking at him!
Emily and Victor were brave enough to allow me to take some additional portraits after the ceremony, despite the cold and the rain, and I'm so glad they did. I just love how these turned out!
Some really sweet details from their reception. The personal touches are so nice!
Looking so happy during their first dance!
Victor and his mom rocked out during their mother son dance, it was so adorable seeing them dance and singing to each other!
Congrats again Emily and Victor!
